NOTICE: On March 9th, 2020, the Victoria County Commissioners’ Court passed a order determining, that the County will use a Request for Qualifications method of procurement for Professional Services regarding the “Victoria County 2020 Forensic Audit.”
Therefore, pursuant to this action, the Victoria County Commissioners’ Court is seeking responses to a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for Forensic Audit Services until 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2020. Responses will be received by John Johnston, County Engineer, in Administrative Services located in Room 127 of the 1967 Courthouse at 115 N. Bridge Street, Victoria, Texas 77901. Responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly labeled as “RESPONSE FOR FORENSIC AUDIT SERVICES.”
Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. The phone system in Administrative Services shall be the official time of receipt. Responses received after the deadline will be returned unopened.
Responses will be held unopened until March 30th, 2020, and be opened and the Respondent’s name read aloud during a meeting of the Victoria County Commissioners’ Court beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Commissioners’ Courtroom is temporarily located in the basement of the Annex Building at 205 N. Bridge Street, Victoria, Texas 77901. Formal action on Responses will be considered at a future meeting of the Commissioners Court. Responses shall include all requirements of this RFQ to be considered. Funding source for this project will be general funds or reserve funds.
Awards will be made during a succeeding Victoria County Commissioners’ Court meeting.

No Responses may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of the Responses without consent of the County. The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all Responses and to accept any response deemed by the County as providing the best value for and being most beneficial to the County, and to waive all formalities in the response process.
